NOTES:

For the Hasegawa 1/72 kit

If you have been reading these reviews, you may recall a few B-47 bits from a short time ago and were perhaps wondering if a full cockpit set was in the offing. Well, it is and I have to tell you that this is a very nicely molded set. For sure it takes the B-47 kit to the next level by its addition.

The set comes in a sturdy box with instructions and two bags. One contains the main cockpit tub. Even bagged alone, there was some breakage, but nothing that cannot be easily fixed. The main tub also includes the entranceway into the cockpit and navigator's position, though the nav position is not part of this set.

Pavla gives you a new entrance hatch with a long boarding ladder and the small rain guard above it. Once in the cockpit, there are fore and aft bang seats, the same canopy and frame set as provided earlier, control wheels and rudder pedals along with several frets of throttles. There are two sets of six for each seat and a set of four that the bombardier operates when he spins his seat to the rear to operate the aircraft while looking into the radar scope.

The set comes with complete instructions and you will be removing bits from the kit and some rather hefty sections from the big cockpit tub piece. This is all clearly shown so should not be an issue. Painting information for all the various parts is also included in the set.

In all, it is a superbly done set and one that anyone contemplating the old Hasegawa kit should have on their list of things to get.
