This is a very timely set and perfect for those of us who have the Revell or Monogram F-18A or F-18C kit. Often we don't want to spend the loot on the Hasegawa version, but still want an updated Hornet. This set includes a new radome, new upper nose section with the new IFF antennas, and new VHF and GPS antennas. There is also a nice decal sheet of vents to use. Instructions are included that show exactly where all these bits go and how to cut the upper fuselage section to install the replacements.

As I've come to expect from MAW, the bone white resin is superbly crafted with no defects and outstanding detail.  A needed set for those wanting to do the updated early Hornets
