Master Details has slowly been adding new items to their catalogue and the latest is a WWII USN/USMC fighter pilot standing figure. This one is dressed for the tropics with an early style 'Mae West' life preserver, web belt with holstered 45 and a magazine pouch.
The casting is superb and the kit includes two cast metal heads; one with a flight helmet and the other with a ball cap. A cast chin strap is included for the helmeted heat. Construction will be quite easy and the set includes a cover painting to give you an idea on how this is to be painted.
In all, it is a super figure and perfect for any of the big scale USN fighters that are currently on the market.
