Some of the most colorful P-47s were those operated by the Air Sea Rescue squadrons. These were often high time razorback P-47Ds that were no longer capable of combat operations. Most of them wore red, white and blue cowling stripes along with other colors to make them stand out a bit.

This set includes two dinghy packs for the wing pylons and a smoke marker assembly that went under the fuselage behind the wing. As with other Loon Models sets, these have fine flash that will need to be cleaned, but aside from that, this is a no hassle conversion for any appropriate P-47D kit.
