Continuing with the super conversion/update sets is this one for the Hasegawa Apache. As with all IAF aircraft, there have been upgrades to the airframe and systems over the years. Much of this involves adding electronic and defensive systems so there are the usual number of 'lumps and bumps' appearing on the airframe.

This particular set includes two large fuel tanks with pylons (well protected against damage as you can see from the image), tail fins for the tanks, flare/chaff dispensers, DECM antennas and new rear side pod sections.

As with all IsraCast sets, the instructions are outstanding. There are a lot of photos of the real aircraft which show just where the parts go. Also included are photos of the kit with the new parts glued in place. I only wish that many of the other aftermarket folks were so good about showing where parts go.

The quality of the castings is first rate with no glitches of any kind appearing in the resin. All in all a truly excellent set that will go well with IsraDecal sheet #23 that provides markings for several IAF Apaches.
