Bagheera has moved into doing some aircraft items. This particular one is a Bf-109G cockpit set designed for the Fine Molds kit. The set is superbly detailed and comes with a new tub, side panels and a forward bulkhead. The tub includes a seat with harness, rudder pedals and the cannon cover. As there are cockpit differences between the G and the K versions, one uses the kit supplied instrument panel, for instance. This is a good move as the kit panel is quite well done. The kit control stick is also needed. One simply sands off the extant sidewall detail and, test fitting to ensure it all goes together ok, installs the cockpit once it has been painted and the tub removed from the small resin pour block.

It is an excellent cockpit set and provides a resolution of detail that is a step above what is provided by Fine Molds. If one is going to go through the efforts of building the Fine Molds kit, then one should seriously consider this set.
