One of the major complaints about the Hasegawa 1/48 F-8E is that it not only is nearly impossible to build with the wings straight, but that it also can't be properly build with the flaps and slats extended. As this is the condition in which you'd most likely see the plane on the ground, having that capability is one that most modelers would like to have.

Well, thanks to Blap Models, we now have that option. What's more, it isn't one of these deals where you have to cut and hack on the kit parts. No siree, this is a one piece wing with all the right angles included. Simply clean up the one sprue stub on the front, trim off a tiny bit of flash, smooth the edges of any mold seams, wash the wing with warm water and mild detergent, and you are ready to paint and install. The molding is top notch with none of the molding glitches one often sees with lesser castings.

An excellent way to improve the look of your next Crusader project. I have this one already planned for my Hasegawa F-8 build.
