As some of you know, Aires has a line of resin engines that it has produced in both scales. These are quite comprehensive and white really only for the experienced modeler, can be made into superb representations. The latest in that line is this exquisite Jumo 004B turbojet engine.

The level of detailing on the parts is quite high, as you can see from the image. There is a touch of flash on some of the parts, but cleaning this up should be a real breeze. Included with this kit, but not shown is a small etched metal fret for a few engine accessory items and several lengths of copper wire for the fuel lines. The instructions are most complete and show exactly where the etched bits and wire are to go. There are even guides as to the shape of the various lines.

Thanks to the relatively low number of parts, construction should be quite easy compared to the piston engines. No color info is given, however the box art should be a most acceptable guide. There isn't a specified kit, but I'd be quite surprised if it didn't fit the new Tamiya kit. One could also use it for the Monogram or Dragon kit if so desired. Personally, I'd mount it such that the entire engine is exposed so that all the detail can be seen.
