Switching from the usual Ju-88 stuff, AIMS has provided a nice weapons set for the 1/72 F-15E Strike Eagle kits. The two kits of which I'm aware, Hasegawa and Academy, are not really F-15Es but warmed over F-15B aircraft. The racks they provide are not totally accurate and Hasegawa kit lacks the bulged main gear doors. This set corrects that by providing you with a plethora of racks that you can use to replace those on the kit. You also get bulged gear doors and some rather lethal looking GBUs. Specifically, two GBU-10s and four GBU-14s, complete with different noses and with nice etched brass guide fins. The set provides clear drawings for proper placement of the racks and for constructing the GBUs. A most welcome and needed set.
