Advanced Modeling 48075: KAB-500L 500kg LGB

This next neat offering of 'things under wings' from Advanced Modeling is a pair of KAB-500L 500kg laser guided bombs. This pair of bombs consists of two complete afterbodies with fins, a nose section, a pair of clear resin seekers, two photoetch pieces for the rear of the bombs and a decal sheet. The modeler will need to manufacture the small rod that goes between the seeker head and the rest of the bomb. A section of wire should do the trick.

These bombs are good for a variety of Russian aircraft including the Su-24M, Su-25TM/SM, Su-30MKI/MKK, Su-32, MiG-27K, and MiG-29SMT. The set comes with complete assembly instructions as well as dimensions on the part you need to manufacture. Full painting and stencil placement is also provided.

I have included a photo of a practice bomb to use as a reference. For a live weapon I believe the red bits would not be on the bomb. I should add that every Advanced Modeling casting that I have seen has been superlative and totally free of any sort of casting errors.
