Finishing up the latest batch is this sheet titled "Headed for Guadalcanal". This sheet depicts the unit as it was in August of 1941, with all the aircraft in overall light gull grey with white lettering. All 18 aircraft assigned to the unit are provided on the sheet along with a listing that ties in the unit code and the serial numbers. There are enough insignia and prop markings to be able to do six of the options on the sheet. The additional numbers you see are in case you need them and for the sides of the cowling.

All of the information about subtype that was mentioned in the previous VMF-211 sheet applies to this one and is correctly depicted on the cover art. The instructions provide a superb paint color reference and suggest Tamiya spray paints for most shades. The recommended kit for this sheet is the Hobbyboss F4F-3.
