NOTES:

This new sheet from Wolfpak Decals includes a number of modern aircraft options and one from a few years ago.

First is an F-22A in the markings of the 192 FW based at Langley AFB in 2010. The 192nd used to have its own aircraft but like many ANG units has been downsized to where it shares aircraft with an extant USAF squadron, providing pilots and, I would assume, support personnel as well. This plane was specially painted with a blue nose to celebrate the 328th FS from WWII. These markings were on the plane 3 days before being removed and the aircraft never flew while so adorned.

Next is an EF-18G from VAQ-141, the first fleet unit to fly is version which will soon replace the EA-6B. This is the CAG bird.

From VMFA-242, is the F-18D ATARS. The addition of the ATARS nose allows the aircraft to fly the tactical reconnaissance mission.

The CH-46E is from HMM 774 'Wild Goose' from the 4th MAW as seen in 2008.

Another grey Marine helo is the UH-1N from HMLA-367

Finally, our oldie from VMA-231, is this AV-8A in a winter camouflage where the green areas were overpainted with white.

The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have. A listing of available kits is also included.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
