NOTES:

This time, Wolfpak decals provides us with a sheet full of aircraft whose main purpose in life was to take out enemy ground to air missile sites.

It starts out with an F-4D 'Terrible Tyke' from the 497 TFS at Ubon, Thailand in 1972. Standard SEA camo, but with the underside in black instead of grey.

Next is one of two F-16CJs from the 55 FS/20 FW at Shaw AFB in 2005. the other is near the bottom of the illustration. Both of these are very late build F-16CJs and are both 'big mouth' aircraft.

An A-6B is next from VA-34 aboard the USS JFK in 1974.

This is followed by an EF-10B assigned to VMCJ-2 at DaNang in 1968, towards the end of the type's service. These were replaced by EA-6As.

The F-105F is the plane flown by Leo Thorsness on his Medal of Honor mission in 1967.

From Spangdahlem AFB in 1976, is this EF-4C of the 81st TFS. Most of the planes operated by this unit went on to serve in the 113 TFS, Indiana ANG at Terra Haute.

The MiG-25 was operated by the 164th OGvRAP in Poland during the Cold War.

Most of these aircraft will require some modification from the kits available, and the instructions provide the information that is needed to make these upgrades (or backdates in some cases).

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.

Thanks to WolfPak Decals for the review sample. You can order yours direct via Paypal using sales@millcreekconsultants.com for the reference. Free US shipping, Canada and Mexico add $3 and rest of the world add $4.
