NOTES:

This time, Wolfpak decals provides us with an interesting mix of aircraft. These are, for the most part, FAC aircraft (Forward Air Control), though not always planes used in combat.  The instruction sheet for this set is the best in the business when it comes to background information and what may be needed to accurately depict the aircraft being modeled. In addition to the actual placement profiles, there are several additional pages of information that include a history of the type,  kits and update bits for these schemes,  as well as load-out information, and any changes needed to properly model the aircraft in question, assuring you of the most accurate model you can have.

First option is an O-1E. There is no unit mentioned only that it was used in South Vietnam. A rarity is that this one is in the SEA camouflage, so it had to have been around for a long time.

The O-2A was the O-1's replacement. Most of them were in overall ADC Grey (FS 16473) with a black anti-glare panel and a big white panel on the upper wings. This one is from the 21 TASS in South Vietnam during 1970.

The black OV-10A was one of a few operated by VS-41 when they were designated as the Navy training unit for pilots headed for VAL-4. This scheme is from 1971, during their conversion from S-2 to S-3 aircraft. The unit only had a handful of these and operated them for just a few years.

Next we have an OT-37B. This is basically a T-37B that was used by the 21st TASS for training purposes as it wasn't fully outfitted with all the radios. What makes it interesting in the two tone green/grey camouflage.

The last is an F-16C/D from the 188 FS at Kirtland AFB. These are all big mouth F-16s and the sheet offers both an F-16C and F-16D serial number. Standard camouflage.

As with the previous sheets, these are superbly printed by Fantasy Printshop and without any registration problems. If you have not yet treated yourself to some of the best researched decals around, you should.
