For their second big scale sheet, MAW has chosen to do the very nicely done commander's plane from VMFA-122. This one has a dark blue fin (on the outside) with the inner portion containing the unit's tail code and motto. A nice flag motif marking is provided for the centerline tank. This aircraft has the SJU-17 seat and GPS dome, but doesn't appear to have the 'bird slasher' IFF suite. The recommended kit for this is the Acadamy version.

A full color placement and painting guide is included along with MAW's usual fine load-out diagram. The decals are printed by Microscale and provide some of the red markings as separate bits to prevent problems with registration.  While the markings shown as blue in the instructions appear black on the sheet, they are really a very dark blue. The rest of the data markings can be gleaned from the kit.
