Once again, Techmod produces a most unusual sheet, this time for the Gotha G.IV. Aside from a vac and a resin kit, I believe this one is for the Roden version that was recently issued. One thing for sure, the aircraft will be easy to paint and no need to worry about lozenge decals as these are all listed as being overall FS 35622 light blue.
I know basically nothing about these planes, but apparently they were quite effective at keeping a number of British squadrons in the UK to thwart their raids from mid 1917 until the end of the war.
The sheet has markings for six different aircraft. Most are marked by little more than serial numbers (as in the case of two of the options), but one of these has a nice snake marking on the fusleage, another has dark green markings on the nose and fuselage, while another has a yellow and black band on the fuselage. Three of these have the fin marking of Kagohl 3 to add some interest to your model
The decals themselves are superbly printed and appear quite thin. Instructions are in full color and well detailed so no problems placing the markings. There are sufficient insignia to do two aircraft.
