Hey, more F-16s! Lovely! I know lots of people who really like the lawn dart and are thrilled with each new sheet that comes out. While this one isn't new, it does have lots of lawn darts on it so that should make someone happy! If there is a down side to this sheet is is the lack of a readily available F-16ADF in 1/72. I know that Fujimi produced one, but it is tough to find and is rather expensive for what you get. Should any of you readers know of an aftermarket set for the Hasegawa kit, I'd be very happy to hear from you!

There are four aircraft on this sheet and enough common markings to do two of them. Not sure if the orange is still applicable, as I have heard that when repainted, the orange went away. As all the ADFs were modified from regular F-16As, I'd be willing to bet that the orange markings were gone from them. Again, a wise modeler will check real photos to be sure!

The first plane is an ADF from the 179 FIS of the Minnesota ANG. Not sure if they are still flying this variant or if they have gotten F-16C. Many ANG units that were to fly the ADF variant started with non-ADF moded planes and then sent them through modification, so you might be able to get away with using the markings on a plain A model.

Next is an F-16C from the 14 TFS at Misawa, Japan. This particular aircraft is the Commander's boss bird.

Also an F-16C, this time from the 36 TFS at Osan, Korea. These guys traded in thundering F-4E Phantoms to get their Falcons. Though the maintenance guys probably appreciated it, the pilots and backseaters were undoubtedly sad to see the F-4s go.

Finally, another F-16A/ADF, this time from the 178 FIS, North Dakota ANG. All that was said about the 179 FIS plane above holds true for the NoDak birds.

All in all, a very nice sheet. Now, how about an ADF kit, Hasegawa!
