Though marked as having material for the Mi-8, it actually means Mi-24/25 Hind. Kits that I know of are by Hasegawa for the Hind helos (though I'd bet that Italeri also has one or two). The Hormone is kitted by Airfix and is really a very nice model. I've built two of them and they both turned out very well indeed. For some odd reason, the markings guide for the Hormones have been left off the instructions. By using the Airfix instructions and deductive reasoning, you can figure out which markings are for the Ka-25.

Hinds are generally painted in a rather hard edged camouflage scheme and rarely are any two in precisely the same colors, though the pattern seems to stay rather consistent.  The sheet is mostly for the Hind D that we all have seen in books and magazines, though a pair of the more boxy Hind As are also included.

There are standard Hind Ds for Russia, Poland, East Germany and Afghanisitan (1984). An additional Russian Hind has the fixed twin 20mm cannon on the right side of the fuselage and no nose turret.

For the Hind As, you have a choice of Russia or Algeria.

Though not shown in the instructions, there are two KA-25 markings, Red 17 and Red 28, both with the naval ensign and both in an overall medium grey color.
