If you are thinking that the SH-2F Sea Sprite hasn't had a lot of decal sheets dedicated to it, you'd be right. This is one of the few around and covers two overall Engine Grey (FS 16081) aircraft. For kits you have Fujimi and Airfix and....  Well, unless Italeri has snuck one in, that is it in 1/72. The Fujimi kit is nice but most will prefer the Airfix version. This was also boxed in the US by MPC way back when.

First is from HSL-32. There are a bunch of 'kill' markings on the side plus the usual cover over the sonobouy tubes. This one has a USPS insignia on it, though other Sea Sprites managed to have more interesting covers. It was a sort of ritual to paint something neat on these covers. As usual when deployed, the ships name, in this case the USS Caron, is on the side.

The other is from HSL-35 from NAS North Island. No fancy markings on this one, just the squadron badge on the sonobouy cover. Not shown on the drawing is the squadron code 'TG' which should be on the upper fin. Only one set of upper engine walkways, rear fuselage band and red/yellow stabilzer stripes are provided on the decal sheet. If you want to do both schemes, you'll have to either break out the paint and tape or grab what is provided in the kit. The designation for the HSL-35 helo is listed on the sheet as an UH-2C. Trust me, it isn't.
