For a first of two F-102 sheets, this one covers two aircraft of the 196 FIS, California ANG as based at March AFB in 1962. Actually, I think they may have been based at Ontario, Ca instead of March, but I could be mistaken. There are two sets of serials; one for a Case X wing and the other for a Case XX wing. The Case X winged aircraft is in overall ADC Grey FS16473, while the Case XX aircraft is in overall aluminum paint. There is a complete insignia and data stencil suite provided for whichever aircraft you are doing. For an explanation of the two wings and what kits you need, here is a brief explanation.

There were two different wings for the 102; the 'Case X' (10) and 'Case XX' (20) wings. Basically, the Case XX wing had a very noticeable curved down wing leading edge and wing tip. This wing was installed on all F-102s starting with serial number 56-1317 (often shown on the tail as 61317). It was NOT retrofitted to earlier aircraft. Though I have not bought the recent reissue (2003/4), I've been told that only the Case X wing is provided in the kit. If you want the Case XX wing, you need the original issue Monogram kit as the ProModeler kit also has the Case X wing.
