Tired of the normal? Here is a sheet that should provide some inspiration. All of these are P-47Ms with the 61 FS during the last year of the war. They are all painted black on the upper surfaces with the undersides, upper leading edges and canopy in bare metal. The nose and rudder are painted red. All also have nice nose art on them.

First up is 'Joy Boy', followed by 'Lorene' and finally, the first P-47M built which has a nose art, but no name.

The decals are scaled to fit the Hasegawa and Tamiya kits, though I'd bet you could get them to work on the Otaki, Monogram or even the old Hawk kit. Whichever you choose, it will be different from what you currently have on your shelf!
