The final new 1/48 sheet of this run is also a B-17G sheet. Again, both planes are late war and bare metal.
First up is the 486th BG's 'American Beauty'. This one carries a bit of color in the form of white forward engine nacelles.
The other is another 490 BG plane '£5 and Breakfast', referring to the cost of an overnight stay with companionship. As with other 490 BG aircraft, it has red wing and tailplane bands and a red fin tip. This one also has a yellow nose gun fairing. It seems that 490 BG planes had no belly turret if one is to believe this and the previous sheet's drawing.
Again, only enough room for one set of markings.
