Seems like the F-18 is getting a lot of copy nowadays from the decal guys and well it should, being the premiere USN/USMC fighter. This particular sheet covers two aircraft from VMFA-232. One is from 1999 and the other the recent war in Iraq. Both aircraft are in the current two color grey scheme of FS 36320 over 36375 with tan radome tips. Suggested kit is the the Hasegawa F-18C, but the Monogram one should work just as well.

The 1999 Miramar scheme is the most fancy with the very  nicely done devil on the tail. The red fin tips will have to be painted.

For the war, the markings were toned down  and the red placards were gone, though there are mission markings for the forward nose to add some interest.

The sheet provides enough data and insignia to do one of the two aircraft.
