It is nice that Superscale is continuing to produce sheets for the F-86D as it was used in a great number of FIS squadrons during the Cold War. The only kit, of course, is the fairly new Revell version and it makes into a very nice model with minimal hassles. The sheet includes separated fuselage insignia for those who wish to build theirs with the speed brakes open.

The markings on this sheet are for the commanding officer of the 324 FIS. The main color scheme is red and white with lightning bolts for the drop tanks. This later version has the parabrake doors and the external air scoops on the aft fuselage.
