Here is a nice sheet for those of you into the F-18. I may have mentioned this before, but there are several kits out for this plane. Some of the, such as the ESCI and Italeri kits are a bit, well, old and have not been updated to current specs. The others are the Monogram and the Hasegawa kit. The best is by Hasegawa, but it is a fussy build and quite expensive. The Monogram kit, is much more reasonably priced, but the level of detail isn't as high and it has some fit problems. I should also mention that the above images do not show the small 'finlets' on the LEREX that are standard fit on the F-18C and retrofitted to all other F-18s now flying.
First is the VMFA-321 boss bird. This one is superbly done with a very dark blue spine. In fact, it almost looks black but really isn't. The color reference is given in the instructions. Below is a photo of this plane.
The other aircraft on the sheet is the CAG bird from VFA-37. Though not multicolored as were CAG birds in the past, it does have its unit markings in blue, which does add a bit to the aircraft. Superscale provides a full data placement guide to help you with stencil placement. There are enough insignia and intake warning marks for two planes and enough stencils for one.
