Notes:

This sheet covers an F4U-1A and two post WW II F4U-4 Corsairs. The Corsair was a very long lasting aircraft in naval service in a time when the useful life of an aircraft type was probably not more than 3-4 years. The Corsair was continually upgraded over the years and stayed in service from early 1940 until the mid 1950s with the US Navy and until the late 1960s in foreign service, a real accomplishment.

This particular sheet has enough common markings for one plane and enough insignia to do two of them, as long as one is the WWII version.

From left to right:

The first plane is a VF-22 F4U-4 from 1948 aboard the Coral Sea. This plane has blue wingtips, tail tip, rear fuselage tip and prop hub (which you will have to paint). There is a sharkmouth for one of the drop tanks and unit badges for the sides of the cowling

The VMF-312 -4 has a white checkerboard around the cowling. This is the mount of Capt. DeLong who shot down two North Korean Yak-9s during the Korean war.

Finally the WWII F4U-1A from VMF-321 (now a reserve unit out of Andrews AFB). This planes is in the tricolor scheme and has white markings on the fin, aft fuselage, prop hub and the front of the cowling.

Any of these schemes will look great on your Corsair. The best kit for the WWII version is the Tamiya kit followed by the Otaki Corsair. For the -4 your only real choice is the older Hasegawa kit that has been around for nearly 30 years. It is still a good model, just not up to modern standards.
