You are looking at Microscale's first 1/48 B-17 sheet (for those of you interested, their first 1/48 sheet of any kind was for the P-51D Mustang). It has some real classics on it. Then as now, the only kit is the Monogram B-17G. Only unique markings are included so you have to scrounge for the common ones like insignia. Though it doesn't look like it, all of them are OD over Neutral Grey with one semi-exception!

First is 'Nine O Nine' from the 323rd BS/91st BG. It has red wingtips, fin, and stabilizers. Control surfaces are the normal color. This aircraft has a lot of mission markings.

Next, from the same unit and colored the same is 'Outhouse Mouse'. From my understanding, it is either the first plane to be attacked by an Me-163 or shot down by one.

This G model, 'Little Miss Mischief' has a bare metal front and camouflaged back. No codes are carried, but the fin is in yellow.

Finally, from the 463rd BG is 'Joker'. This one is a bit different in that the plane's name is on the fin rather than the nose.
