The second F6F-5 Hellcat sheet may well be the last 1/72 Superscale sheet you will see. This scale is not selling well for them and the effort that goes into doing them, even with the main artwork already done in another scale, is not worth it. Too bad as I am a big proponent of 1/72 and hate to see these go away. This sheet is for the Academy kit but the Hasegawa, Heller, Airfix, Frog, etc kits should be adaptable to the markings. All are gloss sea blue.

First up is a VF-12 plane from the USS Randoph with the ailerons painted white.

From the USS Essex is David McCampbells 'Minsi III' and a raft of kill markings.

The final scheme is VF-29 aboard the USS Cabot. White spinner tip on this one.
