One of the somewhat newer 1/72 Superscale sheets is this one for the F4U-4 Corsair. All aircraft are in overall gloss sea blue. Kits are, well, I know of the Matchbox and perhaps Italeri has done an F4U-4, but that is all I can think of. Frankly, 1/72 Modelers have not been well served for the -4 Corsair.

There are three schemes on this sheet.

First up is from VMF-314 'Black Sheep' in Korea during 1953.

Next is a nice USN version from VF-193 'Ghost Riders', a moniker taken over by VF-142, but I think it has now been disestablished. This Corsair was aboard the USS Princeton in 1951 and has blue trim.

The final scheme is the Polka Dot marked aircraft of VMA-332 on the USS Bairoko during 1953. Probably one of the more colorful Corsairs around.

The sheet contains insignia for all three aircraft and prop blade markings.
