The RF-84F has not done too well in modeling terms. It has been forgotten in the rush to redo older kits. However, we are fortunate in that the two we do have are not that bad. In 1/72, there is only one and that is the Italeri release. Designed in the era of raised panel lines and minimal cockpit detail, it still makes into a very nice model for those willing to do a bit of work.

This particular sheet covers two USAF versions, both in bare metal with OD anti-glare panels. First is the Wing CO's plane from the 66TRW, a unit that also flew B-66s.

The other is from the 45 TRS along with its famous polka dots. The 45th was one of the last dedicated recce squadrons in the USAF, flying the RF-4C when it was finally disbanded.

The sheet contains enough 'stuff' to do both planes.
