It is not often than the new Superscale does a 1/72 sheet, but this one is designed for the new Revell B-17G or the older Academy kit. As many of you know, the Revell kit has the Cheyenne tail gun and non-staggered side windows. I have to assume that this sheet has aircraft which fit that particular range of aircraft so built.

This sheet has two options on it. The first is an OD over Neutral Grey plane from the 401 BS/91 BG in 1943. It is 'Little Patches' which is one of those schemes that seems to be very popular with modelers. This plane has large Insignia Red  sections on the fin, tailplanes and wing tips which the modeler will need to paint.

The other is another popular subject, 'Sleepy Time Gal'. This one is with the 353 BS/301 BG in Italy during 1944. It is overall unpainted metal with OD anti-glare panels on the nose and inner engine cowlings. The nose panel is included with the sheet. Both of these planes appear to have the upper nose astrodome, but I'd check references to verify their configuration just to be sure.

The instructions include a superb data placement guide so you can get the myriad of stencils properly located. The sheet also includes enough major data markings and insignia to do both options.  Cartograf is now Superscale's default printer and the sheet is superbly done.
