Thanks to the recent issue of the Academy 1/48 F-4B Phantom II, I am sure we will be seeing all sorts of sheets to use on this bird. VF-32 had some pretty cool markings during its Phantom usage and one of those is offered here. I believe this is an upgraded reissue of an earlier sheet, but am not positive as I have not reviewed all the earlier sheets.
This is a CAG bird as based on the USS JFK in 1970 so is one of those units that have had the plane for a while as the F-4J was entering service just before this. CAG colors on this one are in the sword on the rudder. The plane is in light gull grey over white with yellow wing tips and a black anti glare panel on the nose. The sheet is apparently designed for the Academy F-4B kit as it gives reference to specific parts, but I'll bet this could use the Hasegawa kit as well. The decals are superbly printed by Cartograf and you get full color instructions on pacement of the markings.
