Their second new TA-4 sheet includes a couple of more colorful examples. These are in some nice looking schemes and will require the builder to do a bit of masking to get the red on the intakes painted. Superscale provides a close look at how the intakes need to be done so you can be sure to get it right.

First up is a TA-4J from VMAT-102 'Skyhawks' in 1975, with their large unit insignia on the fuselage side. The aircraft is overall white with a black anti-glare panel.

The other is a TA-4F from VA-195 'Dam Busters' in 1969. This aircraft is in the standard light gull grey over white scheme and includes the colorful CAG markings on the top of the fin. The drop tanks are white and the forward section will need to be painted green to match the decal stripe that goes on the side.

For those that have noticed, there is no VF-196. It is a misprint on the instructions and should be VA-195. The decals have the correct designation.

Now, for kits, you can use the Hasegawa (most of us) or the Classic Airframes kit as it will fit either with no trouble. DO NOT use the Fujimi kit as it is 1/50 and pretty crude to say the least. It looks like there are enough stencils and insignia for one aircraft. As with other new SuperScale sheets, this one is superbly printed by Cartograf of Italy.
