This sheet covers just one razorback P-47D. This one is from the famous 'checkertail clan' operating in the Mediterranean theater. The sheet includes the many checkered bits to fit the tail sections and the cowl flaps. The builder will have to paint the backgrounds yellow, but that should be easy enough. The rest of the plane is in OD over Neutral grey and the nose of the cowling and prop hub is in red, the standard Med ID marking for Allied fighters. The yellow trim stripe is provided on the sheet.

The aircraft is the rather famous 'Dallas Blonde' which, I believe, has been painted on one of the few P-47 warbirds that flies around the country.

Markings are fit for the Tamiya and Hasegawa kits, but will probably fit others with some adjustment.
