This sheet is for the P-38L Lightning and has markings for two planes from the 49th FG during the last year of the Pacific war. Both planes are in unpainted metal and the sheet includes enough insignia for both aircraft with data markings for one.

First up is 'Elsie' as flown by Clay Tice of the 7th FS. His plane has red, yellow and blue wing bands that really stand out.

The other is 'Almost a Draggin' of C.M. Isaacson with the 9th FS. His plane has medium blue nose band and spinner bands.

The sheet will fit either the Hasegawa or the Academy kit, and I'm sure that if you have a Monogram version in your pile, you could use that as well if you wanted.

As with all Superscale sheets, the markings are well done by Microscale and work with all setting solutions.
