Though you'd think that all the Navy Hornet units would be flying the E or F by now, that is not at all the case as there still are not enough new planes to replace all the earlier C models. This sheet covers two of those from 2006 and as with most of these sheets, the Hasegawa kit is the one for which the markings are fitted. You could probably use the Mongram kit, but may have to trim the fin decals as the Monogram kit is supposed to have fins that are a bit too small. Both of these are in the Tactical Paint Scheme and have grey radome tips.

First is the VFA-97 CAG bird with the large, fancy tail. The black and yellow markings for the fuselage are provided as separate colors to prevent any problems with registration.

The other is the CO's plane from VFA-87 while aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. It has all the "xxx of the year" folks listed on the inside of the fins.

The sheet provides enough insignia for one aircraft, though you could use the kit's insignia if you wanted to do both.
