Now for some nice Thunderbolts. These are from the 4th FG during 1944 before they transitioned to the Mustangs. The recommended kit for these is the Hasegawa version, though you could use the Tamiya kit if you don't mind the fuselage insignia bits not quite fitting. Both of these are in OD over Neutral Grey with white forward cowlings and tail plane stripes, the standard US 8th AF ID markings for these planes. Both aircraft are D-1 variants so have straight lower cowl flaps with no cut-out.

First up is 'Boisie Bee' the aircraft of the 334th FS's Duane Beeson. This aircraft shows 7 kill markings. Some think these may be at the wrong angle.

The other is Don Gentile's 'Donny Boy' from the 336 FS. Two victory markings are on the decal sheet, but I didn't see where they went on the instruction sheet. Thanks to a reader I noticed that they go under the right foot of the eagle and are on the white portion of the cowling.

The sheet includes insignia and data markings for one aircraft. A very well done data placement guide is included.
