Continuing with their release of Hornet sheets comes this one with markings for a new VFA-105 F-18E and an older F-18C from VFA-15. For the F-18E, the Revell or Hasegawa kits are recommended. For the F-18C only the Hasegawa kit is recommended, but I'll remind readers that Monogram does an F-18C as well if cost is a consideration. Both planes are in FS 36320 over 36375.
The VFA-105 aircraft is a standard line bird with a black fin. Decals are provided for the fin stripes.
The VFA-15 F-18C is the CAG bird from its 2005 cruise aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
Both are very colorful schemes.
There are data markings for both aircraft, but I would recommend using the kit ones for the F-18E if using the Hasegawa kit as my experience with the F-18F kit showed the Superscale vent markings to be too small. I should clarify this, as I've confused a reader or two. I mean the vent markings inside the intake and on the tail, not the intake warning markings, which should seem short as that is the way they are on the real planes. Insignia for one option, but if you want to do both, there are aftermarket insignia sheets you can use.
