Getting back in with the P-47s, here are a couple for the Tamiya kit. Again, you can use others, but the larger decals may not fit perfectly.

The first one is from the 19 FS/318 FG and is 'Smokepole' a P-47D-21 with a 12'2" Curtiss Electric prop. It is in OD over Neutral Grey with white fin/rudder and white cowling with blue cowl flaps and wing tips. A blue fin band is also needed and must be painted on.

The other is 'Leaky Joe' of the 396 FS/386 FG. This P-47D-28 has a 13' asymmetrical Curtiss Electric prop. It is unpainted aluminum with a yellow forward cowl and yellow fin section/fillet. Those will have to be painted. Since it is just post war, it has a yellow/red occupation band.

The sheet includes insignia and data markings for one. You'll see that on 'Smokepole' the fuselage insignia is farther aft than the norm.
