The P-47 has been a real favorite for years and so having another sheet for this plane isn't much of a surprise. Especially so when there are so many different markings for the aircraft and with a number of nice kits on the subject. This includes the more recent Tamiya version, the kit for which these markings are designed. As a -25 Thunderbolt, you need to be sure that it has the Hamilton Standard prop on it.

The aircraft is from the 388 FS/365 FG in the second half of 1944 and operated from the continent by the 9th Air force. It is in overall unpainted metal with black ID bands on the empennage as well as a black anti-glare panel and forward nose. The aircraft sports a full suite of invasion stripes, which will need to be painted on the wings. A complete data suite is provided as well.
