A rather nice post war scheme is provided on this sheet. No particular kit is recommended, but you do have the Hasegawa and Academy F4U-4s to choose from. There is also a conversion set for the Tamiya kit should you wish to go that route.

This VMT-1 aircraft was based at MCAS Cherry Point in 1951. It is in overall gloss sea blue with white edged green training stripes. You'll have to paint the cowling white prior to applying that particular markings.

The sheet provides all the insignia and data markings needed to complete a most colorful model.
