If you recall, most Superscale sheets come in pairs and this is the second 1/48 Corsair sheet. Two periods are covered on this one. Once again, overall gloss sea blue is the base color for these aircraft. The recommended kit for the WWII version is Tamiya and for the post war aircraft; Academy. Personally, I'd prefer the Hasegawa -4, but that is just me.
The F4U-4 is from VF-22 aboard the USS Coral Sea in 1948. It has light blue on the fin tip, wing tips and prop hub. The drop tank has a red forward section for the shark mouth.
The F4U-1D is from VMF-312 and is resplendent in its checkers for the rudder and the cowling.
The sheet includes insignia for both and data markings for one aircraft along with a good data placement guide.
