For the second Hellcat sheet, we keep in 1945, but concentrate on the planes of aces. Again, the Hasegawa 1/48 F6F-5 is the recommended kit. These aircraft are also overall gloss sea blue, making painting much easier.

First up is the VF-12 aircraft of Hamilton McWhorter II aboard the USS Randolph. His plane has white stripes on the fin and both ailerons are also white. Decals are provided for the ailerons, but one may want to paint these.

The other ace is Robert Murray of USS Cabot's VF-29. This has three white stripes and a full white rudder with white stripes on both ailerons as an ID markings. It also carries a white prop hub.

Again, insignia and data markings for one of the two planes on the sheet. A full data placement guide is provided.
