The second Hornet sheet is for a VFA-83 F-18C. The fin on this one is in very dark blue and is the CAG bird with the usual special markings that sometimes accompany the boss' bird. The recommended kit is Hasegawa, for which the decals were scales. This aircraft carries no wing insignia, which is something seen more and more often on repainted aircraft, such as this one. Both the nose badges are two part affairs for improved registration.
