Moving along with the WWII batch, this sheet is for the F6F-5 Hellcat, the Hasegawa kit being the one that is most recommended. These planes are a cinch to paint as basically everything on the outside is dark sea blue. This one is not a reprint of any sheet I've seen so we have three new options for our Hellcat.
First up is White 9 from VF-11 aboard the USS Hornet in 1944. Lt Stimson has racked up quite a score, undoubtedly thanks to the Battle of the Philippine Sea!
Next is the aircraft of Lcdr Eder in 1945 when with VS-1. Included in his score is a French kill marking. I'm sure there is an interesting story behind that one.
Finally Ens Wood and Olszewski's VOF-1 Hellcat aboard the USS Tulagi in 1944. THere are four German kill markings on this one and some color is added with a red forward cowling and spinner tip.
Full insignia for all and enough data markings for at least one aircraft. A very good placement guide is provided as well.
