Moving on with some more Bearcat decals, this sheet covers three F8F-1 versions. The suggested kit is the Academy/Hobbycraft version as it is the only one that does the -1 out of the box. The Testors/Hawk kit is a -2 with the taller fin.

First up is an overall gloss sea blue Bearcat with an orange fuselage band as was used by the Naval Reserves after the war. This one is from VF-726 at NAS Glenview. You'll have to paint the fuselage band, so don't forget to leave a gap for the decal that goes there.

Next is another gloss sea blue aircraft from ATU-2, the Advanced Training Unit at NAS Corpus Christie in 1950.

The final scheme is a test aircraft involved in ordnance testing from NAF China Lake. It has a sea blue fuselage with yellow wings. It has sea blue wing tips and ailerons.

The sheet provides full insignia for all three aircraft.
