This is one of the earliest Superscale/Microscale sheets done in 1/48 scale and was undoubtedly designed for the really awful ESCI 1/48 A-7E. Fortunately for us all, Hasegawa released a very nice Corsair II kit about 10 years later that is still the standard of the industry as I write this. Judging from the look of the decals, they should fit the Hasegawa kit without any real problems.

Two aircraft are featured; the first being from VA-25, at the time based on the USS Ranger. The dark green tail was a feature of VA-25 aircraft for years until they transitioned to the F-18 Hornet back in the mid 1980s.

The other is from VA-82, which was on the USS America at the time these markings depict.

The sheet offers stencils for both and insignia for one. Instrument panels are provided as well for the ESCI kit decals were less than sterling!
