The second new 1/32 Hornet sheet is also for the Academy kit and this time, it is the commander's plane from VMFA-232. As is the norm for Marine aircraft, the trim is in red and the modeler will have to paint this on the tops of the fins. This red even extends to the tail hook which is red and white instead of the normal black and white. This plane has been repainted and is nearly devoid of the usual mass of stencil markings. Only ones seen are those that are included with the sheet. Bucking the trend, this aircraft has insignia on the wings! Another nice inclusion are a set of walk areas for the top of the LEREX.
