Here's another big Hornet sheet. This time with three units on it. How do they do it? Simple, leave off common markings like intake warning, insignia and the such and stick with doing just the unique unit ones. Not exactly a new sheet, this one must be 15 years old if a day. No kits are suggested, but at that time it was basically Revell or Hasegawa. Now you have a nice Academy F-18C that can be rather easily back-dated.
Ok, so the first plane on the instruction sheet is VFA-305 Lobos. It and its other Naval Reserve compatriot are in the FS 36320 over FS 36375 scheme. This is a very early F-18A.
Next is a bit of an odd one from VFA-132. Apparently they were trying out new schemes and this one is overall FS 36375. It is the plane with the white markings. The sheet doesn't say if it is the wings or the fuselage that get the white insignia, but I'm betting on the fuselage.
The last is from VFA-303 and is probably the least flashy of the the three.
If I'm not mistaken (and someone will correct me if I am) all three units have been disestablished
