This particular sheet is so old that it is still in the Microscale jacket. It covers three F-18A Hornets in the FS 36375 upper and 36495 lower camouflage scheme. Now I'm thinking that those colors may be in error but I'm not positive so will let it go at that. There is no suggested kit, but it seems to me that back then your options would be from Revell or Hasegawa for the A model.
The sheet provides unique markings for three aircraft. I have also reproduced the sheet markings in greyscale as there is no color on the sheet at all. That explains the grey background which is normally a very light blue.
First up is an aircraft from VFA-25, the "Fists of the Fleet", and one of the first fleet squadrons to get this plane.
Next is one from VMFA-122 "Crusaders". I can recall much hooplah about providing new Hornets to Marine units after complaints that the Marines only got hand-me-downs.
Finally, an aircraft from VFA-195 "Dam Busters" in a set of markings prior to being assigned to an air wing. Though not done in the past, over the last 20 years or so, if a squadron was not assigned to a wing, it used NM tail codes.
No common markings or insignia are supplied though there is an excellent stencil placement guide provided. Those were to be found on other sheets, but nowadays one will have to use those from the kit.
